I’m back!

Well I started this blog forever ago. A lot has changed and well I’m starting again
This past week has been quite a roller coaster. My allergies have been out of control lately. I’ve had quite a few reactions at work leading to a suspension on medical grounds. I’m really not happy about this as it feels like punishment for having allergies. A coworker has continually been bringing in foods he knows set me off and insisting on eating them at his desk despite being told this is a problem by myself and upper management. We sit back to back and it’s not like I can get away from it. When people don’t “believe” in your allergies it’s very scary. Especially when they’ve witnessed the reactions. I have an extensive list of allergies, not all are airborne and not all illicit anaphylactic reactions, but those that do are extremely serious.

Anyway, thanks for letting me vent and I’ll ask you to keep your fingers crossed for me and my job because well, my kid likes to eat. 🍽

Welcome!

Here's my intro

I'm so excited to be starting this new blog/project! I'm hoping to find more mom's like me. So I'm going to share about myself and my life and hope that it is taken in the right way and leads me to the right people.

My name is Christine, I'm 27 and currently my life is a bit crazy and yet feels uneventful lol. I have a very loud, very opinionate(like his mommy), very gorgeous 4 year old boy named David. I live in Perth, Scotland with my amazing partner Mike. He really is a dream come true, especially after my ex-husband.

So incase my spelling of mommy hasn't given it away, I'm American, born and raised in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Let me tell you that living in the UK is amazing, but has it's own challenges. The first being pickles. Yes, pickles, I miss kosher dill pickles so much. I probably used to eat at least one a day and now, nothing. I should learn how to make them, but well, I've got other stuff to do.

So my interest are sewing, writing, teaching my son to use proper grammer(I'm serious), walking my Millie moo and spending time with Mike. We love family days out and try to do these twice a month if not more often.

Ok so, now I have all these ideas and words running through my mind. I don't want to overload or bore you so I think I will stop while I'm ahead.

More to come though, I promise...
